I will have some jewellery on display made from materials including sterling silver, Sandalwood, Jam wood, Quandong seeds and Sandalwood seeds at the upcoming exhibition “What Goes Around” in conjunction with other members from the Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia W.A (JMGA WA) at Turner Galleries.
The exhibition will open on Friday 25th November, 6-8pm.
Awards presentation and artist talks:
Saturday 26th November, 3pm
Although I will not presenting an artist talk, I will be at the Gallery from 2-5pm
Prizes will be awarded to artists for their work in three categories: Technical Excellence; Best Interpretation of the Theme; and Outstanding Student Work. Judging will be undertaken by jeweller and silversmith Philip Noakes (recently appointed as Fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths, London), and Dr Dorothy Erickson (internationally exhibiting artist jeweller, historian and author).
A People’s Choice Award will provide an opportunity for visitors to vote for their favourite work. The winning artwork of the People’s Choice Award will be announced on Monday December 19.
